Retro Environmental, a Selective Demolition and Environmental Remediation company with a branch office in Mechanicsburg, PA, is seeking demolition and asbestos supervisors to join our team.

The Field Supervisor works hand-in-hand and receives direction from Project Managers and Estimators. The Field Supervisor also works directly with our client site representatives.

Duties:

· Work as company representative and communicate effectively with clients and site employees.

· Ensure that job site conditions are safe and employees are performing work in accordance with assigned procedures.

· Make sure that the project drawings and specifications are on site and you are familiar with contents

· Perform daily jobsite inventory and order supplies for job as necessary.

· Review job site equipment and make sure the proper equipment is on site to perform tasks efficiently and safely.

· Secure and process any scrap metal, and properly segregate waste and assure proper classification.

· Complete all daily and weekly paperwork for job reporting.

· Perform checks to ensure that proper planning and precautions are in place to protect building occupants from harm and property from damages.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Read, write, and communicate effectively in English

· Ability to read and understand blue prints and specifications

· Prior experience in related field or commercial construction required

· Must have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

· Willing to travel throughout Pennsylvania. Our work sites are generally within central Pennsylvania and extending to a two hour radius of Harrisburg

· Asbestos certification and state license, recommended but not required

· Pass required medical examination in order to wear a respirator

· Willing to submit information for background checks to gain access to restricted job sites
