As a Construction Drafter, the candidate will focus on producing plans for pre-engineered building packages. An ideal
candidate is interested in producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and
procedures. They must have strong oral and written communication skills; be self-motivated with the ability to work
independently or as part of a team. They must be highly organized with attention to detail and be able to perform
critical thinking and problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Use CAD to develop plan views, cross sections, construction details, etc. for the buildings to be

• Use CAD to develop preliminary drawings for buildings at the initial stage of quoting.

• Learn and understand EPS product lines.

• Attend training meetings to advance relevant knowledge and skills.
• Understand and observe all company safety policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED

• Knowledge of construction methods and materials.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings.

• A technical degree in Architectural Drafting, Building Drafting and Design, a related field of study

PREFERRED

• Knowledge of AutoCAD or related CAD drafting software.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook.
