Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of automated testing experience.

- Minimum 2 years of experience using a version control system for baselining source code.

- Minimum 1 year of experience writing and enforcing configuration management plans, policies, and/or procedures.

- Knowledge and understanding of application hosting, with at least 1 year of experience working in a Commercial Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) or Platform as Service (PAAS) Cloud environment.

- Experience performing change control and configuration audits in a version control system such as GitHub and other Git-based solutions.

- Experience working in Lean-Agile frameworks such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Enterprise Scrum (eScrum).

- Experience supporting the Software Development Lifecycle throughout all stages.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good experience in preparing IT technical documents.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- The Configuration Manager will work in a fast-paced agile development environment performing installations, configurations, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

- Program provides acceleration of community-developed scientific and technological enhancements into the operational applications, for Numerical Weather Prediction and improved Research to Operations.
