Department/Organization: 150107 - President's Office External Affairs

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Job Summary: The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors entering a facility.

Additional Department Summary: The Concierge is responsible for greeting and directing guests of The University of Alabama when entering Rose Administration. Will also provide direct administrative support to the Office of the President and Capstone Men and Women.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years of experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to search, manipulate, and use various databases programs. Must also be able to accurately and quickly navigate the UA Web site and other Web sites in order to direct individuals appropriately. Must be able to use copiers, printers, and a multi-line telephone. Must maintain a polished and professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications: The candidate chosen for this position should enjoy interacting with the public; especially the student population. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
