Job Description

Under the direction of the IT Manager, develop and maintain computer programs, applications and scripts within the Plant’s information systems.

  • Develop and modify programs, applications, reports, and scripts based on defined specifications with some direct supervision.
  • Troubleshoot program problems and failures, and work with functional departments to resolve issues.
  • Provide assistance to projects that support the implementation of plant wide information systems in collaboration with functional users.
  • Develop and modify technical documentation to support application maintenance, operations and end-user training.
  • Provide training and support for information systems to users and employees.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by the IT Manager consistent with the position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Programming proficiency is required.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in software development projects in a professional setting is required.
  • Experiences in programing in the VB .Net, C# .Net, VBA and SQL languages are strongly preferred, but not required.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field is preferred, but not required.

  • Provide a high level of customer service, by communicating effectively with internal customers and functional area users.
  • Deadline driven with a strong emphasis on goal achievement; flexible with schedule and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to follow instructions – written and verbal.
  • A detail-oriented, self-motivated individual.
  • Ability to work in a process-oriented environment and learn new technologies.
  • Capable of training end-users to use in-house programs.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.50 to $38.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 96 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
