Job description

Work days start at 7am - 7:30 am every Tuesday. Must have transportation to the work site. Once you arrive you will be using the company truck, which is a Dodge 2500 automatic diesel. Main responsibilities include driving for 6 hours around Gainesville and the surrounding areas swapping out compost buckets. We provide the route list in order with updated notes each week. Once the route is complete, you will head back to the farm and begin "processing". Processing includes dumping buckets onto the pile and cleaning up the area to ensure the pile is well kept and achieving efficient heating. Buckets and lids are then rinsed and washed with biodegradable soap and then stacked and put up in an orderly manner. The processing takes anywhere from 3-4 hours depending on amount of buckets that week.

Employees must have a good driving record and valid driver's license. You will be insured as a driver under Two Farms, One Dream LLC and expected to represent the company in a good manner. No smoking on the job and absolutely no tolerance for drinking or substance use. From this there may be more opportunities of working with the vegetable growing operation and markets.

This job requires good driving skills, patience, hard work outside in most weather conditions, and being able to work well by yourself and self manage. Training will be 2 work days then you will be expected to be on your own. We are a multifaceted farm with a compost operation, vegetable production farm, and herbal apothecary.
