You will be providing guidance to business partners on the key rules and regulations that must be followed when building innovative solutions for our clients and customers.
The Role
In this role, you will be focused on supporting a data protection and privacy program to comply with both domestic and global privacy regulations. You will work across Fidelity with partners in Legal, Risk, Cyber Security, Product, and other business functions to maintain and support an effective privacy and data protection program with documented controls, procedures and governance designed to protect customer information.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in compliance, brokerage, or financial industry required
Ability to apply critical thinking to understand, interpret and apply regulatory and legal requirements
The Skills You Bring
Knowledge of federal laws, regulations, and agencies governing business lines supported (e.g., ERISA, Department of Labor, Internal Revenue Service) is strong
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including ability to collaborate across the organization, with peers and management, to deliver results
Excellent verbal and written communications skills - ability to present ideas and complex information clearly and effectively through multiple channels
Identify, analyze and resolve problems independently, and call out matters when appropriate
Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work
Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Sharepoint, are some of the many tools in your toolbox
The Value You Deliver
Providing compliance guidance and assessing compliance risk and exposure associated with products and services.
Protecting Fidelity’s reputation, brand, and integrity while empowering business evolution
Monitoring, reviewing, and disseminating requirements of new laws, regulations and other guidance applicable privacy and data protection.
Assist with the implementation of new rules and regulations impacting Fidelity.
Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures for specific compliance content
Creating and delivering training and communications to educate associates on Fidelity’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
Developing enhanced executive reporting driving visibility & measurement of program health
The Team
Our Compliance team effectively manages compliance readiness activities related to new regulatory rules and requirements and provides product and service support to the Workplace Investing & the Health Care businesses to help achieve key business goals and initiatives.
