This is an opportunity to work with a top law firm in Louisiana who has both the desire and resources to give back and make a Difference in our communities. The Community Relationship Coordinator is the face of Dudley DeBosier, responsible for coordinating all aspects of the firm’s reputation, engagement, and interactions within the community. They will plan, develop, implement, and analyze community campaigns, sponsorships, marketing efforts, and related events to nurture a strong brand identity, increase awareness of DDB, and develop an enviable image. They will develop strategies and programs to positively represent DDB and make meaningful contributions to our community.
Our ideal candidate has experience strategically planning and executing campaigns, projects, or outreach.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for Dudley DeBosier’s Difference Maker Initiatives, including, but not limited to:
- Nonprofit Relationships
- Leadership Academy
- Random Acts of Kindness
- Oversees Community Relations
- Develops and executes marketing strategies and campaigns to increase Dudley DeBosier’s community footprint
- Develops and expands relationships with community leaders and members
- Supports marketing initiatives and represents DDB at community events
- Increases Dudley DeBosier’s brand awareness and likeness within the community
- Speaks publicly at events, interviews, and presentations on behalf of DDB
- Coordinates DDB Community Events
- Manages Community Events/Initiatives, including planning, execution, and evaluation
- Plans, develops, implements, and organizes community events, outreach programs, and volunteers to advance the mission and goals of the firm
- Oversees DDB Community Campaigns
- Works alongside the marketing team and advertising agency to launch community campaigns and proof campaign assets and content
- Creates and plans programs that engage and support the community and employees
- Responsible for Community Sponsorships, including recommendations, execution, and evaluation
- Responsible for Public/Media Relations
- Drafts and distributes/publishes various content pieces that promote the company, as well as individuals or groups within the company.
- Drafts and distributes press releases, positive publicity materials, and marketing materials to media partners
- Responsible for Community Referral Relationships
- Maintains Brand Consistency, including all communications channels, internal communications, community outreach, and sponsorship initiatives
- Reports and Reviews Analytics on Key Metrics

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment:
- Indoors / sometimes outdoors for events
- Fast-paced, fluid, collaborative, high-performing
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel between offices, to/from events, and meetings with community partners; mileage reimbursement; must have access to personal transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Some light lifting
Time Requirements:
- 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week; frequent evening/weekend hours
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience planning campaigns, projects, or outreach
Preferred:
- Experience in the legal space
- Outside sales experience
