RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Portfolio Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day, non-profit accrual accounting functions for several homeowner and condominium associations. Accounting functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Preparation of monthly financial statements (including supplemental schedules).
• Bank account reconciliation of community association accounts on a monthly basis.
• Invoice processing and payment disbursement to vendors.
• Fielding questions related to community association financial matters.
• Assisting in the investment of community association surplus funds.
• Plus other work related tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s Degree or current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program is preferred.

Must pass pre-employment screening which may include a background check/drug testing.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.

Demonstrate a high attention to detail, problem solving, and organization.

Skills:

Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.

Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Knowledge of community management industry is highly preferred.

Knowledge of Caliber Software or other accounting related software is highly preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

$55,000 to $65,000, depending on education and experience.
