Job description

You must reside in the community at time of application. Community knowledge and contacts are critical. Perform work tasks as the Prevention Specialist in assigned multi-county area. Work tasks include Prevention Environmental Education, Intentional Organization, Media Literacy Presentations; media plan campaign development, technical assistance, program implementation, and other tasks as required through specific grants. Implement prevention strategies and evidence-based programs. Responsible for reporting data specific to prevention plans and performs other administrative duties as required. Responsible to report other grant-specific data per individual grant specifications.

Work with current Prevention Specialist and community partners to implement Communities That Care coalition and evidence based underage drinking and drug abuse/misuse programs, policies and procedures.

This position is for all of Gallatin County and requires travel throughout.
