Job description

Contractor Transport LLC is seeking a qualified Diesel Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic.

The Diesel Mechanic will perform preventative & general service maintenance. Equipment will include passenger cars, medium and heavy duty trucks, small engine and large construction equipment. Successful applicants must be able to work safely, efficiently & have the ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures. Operate service truck on and off job sites to complete repairs when needed.

MUST HAVE CDL A or B LICENSE! OR WILLING TO GET ONE.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of previous Diesel Mechanic experience. (i.e., Lowboy, dump trucks, excavators, loaders, etc.)
• CDL A or B license
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Class A or B CDL
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical- medium/heavy duty diesel experience preferred
• Pre-employment drug test and background check
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Must have technical competence with light to heavy duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance
• Service truck experience is a plus
• Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2-10pm or 3-11pm (overtime available as necessary). Some weekends when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
