Commercial UW/Sales Agent Job Details: Employment Status: Full Time Job Location: Rio Grande Valley Bonus: Monthly bonus based on collected premium. Cellphone and Laptop Reports to: Director of Commercial Insurance Requirements: P&C licensed Minimum experience of 1 year in the following types of insurance: (Not all inclusive) Commercial Automobile Commercial Property General Liability Workers Compensation Artisan Contractors Non-profit organizations Special Events E&O policy Job Duties & Responsibilities: Quotes, underwrites and binds commercial insurance for all Channels: Captives, Franchisees and IAs of Pronto Insurance thru an Agency Management system to maintain and grow the book of business of Pronto. Quotes, underwrites and binds commercial insurance for all customers of Pronto Insurance that reach out directly to the department thru an Agency Management system to maintain and grow the book of business of Pronto. Prospects new business for Pronto and through the Pronto sales force. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Sets monthly sales goals and attains them consistently. Ensures that all contracts and binding procedures are followed and executed in a professional manner and according to UW guidelines. Attend underwriting questions from carriers relating to Pronto’s book of business. Coordinates with Accounting the payments to Insurance Companies or brokers of sold policies in our stores. Responsible for giving a consistently high level of service to customers, peers and vendors. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Burning desire to succeed High energy individual Self-starter Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals Positive attitude, with strong cold calling skills and resilient to objections Results oriented Experience in delivering a sales statement of value, probing questions, describing features and selling the benefits of a product, rebuttals and other sales techniques.
