SPG Roofing & Exteriors is seeking an experienced commercial roofing expert to add to our team. This role will assist leadership with bidding and producing commercial roofing systems (EPDM/TPO/PVC/ModBit/Metal/Tesla Solar Roof/Composite).
The ideal candidate has superior market and industry experience, works well as a leader and with a team. This role will assist with complex bid spec projects and private perform roofing work. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years experience with this type of work and a project portfolio that includes $40 million worth of work. Seeks to better themselves through continuing education, training, and enjoys teaching others.
The position will be located in Whiteland, IN.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for quality of specified project/product installation/quality control and warranty guidelines for low slope, non residential steep slope, and metal installations
- Responsible for quality, timeline, and profit margin of commercial projects
- Maintain and recruit value add sub contractors for SPG targeted construction work
- Strong relationships with tier 1 manufacturing and distribution channels to secure materials at competitive pricing
- Work with leadership to target and assist with estimating bid spec and private projects in our target market and construction type
- Responsible for hiring and training field employees to provide proper supervision and quality control for commercial projects
- Seek out and estimate projects targeted by SPG leadership to further our footprint
- Some on-site supervision of ongoing projects will be required
Skill, Education, and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma, equivalency certificate or significant relevant or appropriate working experience
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Experience with bid spec submittals, job tracking, and payment tracking are a must
- Strong communication, time management, and problem solving skills are an absolute must
- Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Positive energy, attitude and approach to assignments
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to climb stairs
Shift:
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
