Job description
We are looking to hire a licensed individual to join our Commercial Lines Insurance department. As a team member, one will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, work closely with producers and co-employees, maintain knowledge of our products, and seek solutions for our client's insurance needs.
The position will handle all facets of Commercial Property and Casualty insurance.

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, company representatives and other team members to ensure optimal results in retention and satisfaction
- Work with Producers and Clients to understand scope of operations insured, and review policies to ensure proper coverage is included and/or offered
- Effectively and efficiently market new and renewal accounts
- Effectively and proactively manage policy renewals
- Issue Certificates, EPI's, Binders, Liability cards and other necessary insurance evidence documents
- Process policies, endorsements, premium finance agreements and other physical or electronic policy documents
- Promptly address policy change requests
- Provide timely responses to requests for information and documents
- Handle or properly refer underwriting questions
- Ensure that assigned customers are aware of all insurance offerings and coverages they may need through checklists and cross sell conversations, including documentation thereof
- Effectively electronically document and/or log activity throughout each day's work
- Maintain and work from a suspense/diary system
- In depth knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance
- Licensed with TX Dept of Insurance
- Independent Insurance Agency experience preferred

- Demonstrate proficiency in insurance knowledge, organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, math, critical thinking and problem solving
- Demonstrate mature work habits, and time management skills
- Exhibit emotional maturity, intelligence, accountability, and resilience
- Basic proficiency with Office 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel, OneDrive, Outlook & Teams)
- Experience with AMS 360 agency management system or similar preferred
- Insurance accreditation a plus
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation
