Finance - Collections Specialist
Overview
Collections specialists on the Collections team are responsible for collecting client payments for delinquent balances in a timely and efficient way. Collections specialists will work closely with Clients, Account Managers, and Team Leads to collect outstanding balances.
Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts on a daily basis
- Identify outstanding account receivables
- Investigate historical data for debts and bills
- Take actions in order to encourage timely payments
- Process payments and refunds
- Work with the Payments and Resolutions team to resolve billing and credit issues
- Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments
- Update account status records
- Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
Pay: $16.50/hour
Requirements:Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and 10-Key
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of collections experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite preferred
- Knowledge of google suite preferred
