Credit and Collections Supervisor

Goya Foods, Inc., a leader in the food industry based in Jersey City, New Jersey is seeking a Credit and Collections Supervisor to join our Finance team.

Summary:

This individual will manage the accounts’ receivable function relating to supermarket chains which consists primarily of cash receipts processing and deductions resolution. Working with the Director of Credit, Sales Department, IT Department, Banks, and others, develop ways to improve procedures relative to the collection of cash, resolution of customer deductions and expansion of electronic commerce. This results-oriented individual will supervise, train and coach a staff of accounts receivable/collection analysts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university,

5+ years of experience in commercial collections preferably with a food retail industry, demonstrated expertise in deduction resolution, and

experience in expansion of Electronic Commerce with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, qualifications, education, and other job-related reasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
