Assistant Program Director Job Description:

Brain Balance Achievement Centers seeks a dynamic Sensory Motor/Cognitive behavior Specialist to lead, train, drive, and support our coaches who are leading students through our sensory motor and cognitive program. This position requires will train you to be the expert on all our various Brain Balance programs and protocols. It looks a lot like personal training for children. Our unique Brain Balance program deals directly with children who have disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, ODD, Dyslexia and Processing Disorders.

Requirements Skills and Experience:

• Experience or a desire to work with children with Autism/ASD
• Experience with children ages 4 - 18
• Confident dealing with difficult behaviors
• Knowledgeable in behavior management techniques
• Patient and kind towards children with special needs
• Team player
• Outgoing/enthusiastic and confident personality
• Ability to take initiative
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• The ability to multitask
• Available most Mid mornings into the evening
• Creative
• Professional

Ideal Candidates May have some or all of the below experiences:

• Special Education Teachers who are looking for a career change
• Experience in higher needs schools
• ABA Therapists looking for a career change
• New College graduates wanting to grow in their skills and knowledge of brain development, cognitive function, and emotional regulation skills

Example work schedule is Mon. - Friday (May have some flexibility)

• Monday: 3PM - 7:30PM
• Tuesday: 3PM - 7:30PM
• Wednesday: 2PM -5:30PM
• Thursday: 1PM - 7:30PM
• Friday: 2PM - 5:00PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
