Job description

Our customer in Machesney Park, Illinois is hiring a full-time Experienced CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have experience with setting up and operating CNC mills and machining centers to fabricated high tolerance parts.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist/Programmer:

• Set up and operate multiple CNC vertical mills, manual machines, cutoff saw
• Performs 1st piece and routine inspection to ensure product conformance with various hand inspection tools and CMM
• Read and write Fanuc G and M code programing
• Read and interpret blueprints and setup sheets
• Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping
• Deburr parts as needed and as time allows
• Maintain clean machines and work area
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as required

CNC Machinist/Programmer Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of CNC Mill Programming, setup, and operation for precision machining
• Reliable, positive attitude, attention to detail
• Strong technical/mechanical aptitude, computer skills, and mathematical ability to calculate trigonometry functions, angles, sine/cosine, etc.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs., reach into machine to load parts, stoop and kneel. Job requires standing for long periods

Pay for CNC Machinist/Programmer: $25+/hour depending on experience.
