Job description

BBK performance is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist /Programmer to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with extensive machine tool knowledge who understands how to use and program multi-pallet horizontal mills, vertical mills and lathes. Equipment at this 65,000ft state of the art location consists of brand new Mazak HCN5000 Horiztal mills attached to Palletech pool system as well as new Mazak VTC vetical milling center. Products machined consist of a variety of 356 aluminum castings as well as 6061 aluminum billet. The CNC Machinist will work with senior members of the production team to manufacture various components for our extensive BBK performance product line. Candidates must have extensive set-up experience as well as programming jobs on multi-pallet horizontal machining centers.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up existing & new programs on new Palletech pallet pool system using supplied tombstones / work holdings
• Set up and program existing & new jobs on Mazak VTC vertical milling center
• Be familiar with programs such as Mastercam, Fushion 360 etc. for programming & editing.
• Know how to run machinery efficiently and safely.
• Ensure proper 1st article and in-process inspections are met.
• Run machinery by following detailed specifications and drawings.
• Work alongside R&D team to design & program new products.
• Manipulate CNC machines using a variety of machine controls.
• Be familiar with standard concepts and terminology used in metal manufacturing.
• Work with others to complete tasks.
• Provide assistance during machinery acquisition or implementation phases of new projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
