The Pines at Glens Falls is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as a CNA Instructor! This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nurse, who has a passion for training and educating, but also loves working with the residents!

The CNA instructor will lead all aspects of the CNA Training process, including, but not limited to:

· Providing on-site instruction and training for prospective CNAs

· Preparing, and implementing active learning activities to meet all course requirements

· Distributing, in written form, course competencies, performance criteria, established approved grading procedures and standards, company procedures, and other necessary information to students at the beginning of the course

· Working collaboratively with the Program Coordinator, Facility Administrator, Nurse Managers, and other staff members to integrate instructional activities.

When the CNA classes are not in session, the CNA Instructor will be tasked with helping with day-to-day operations on the resident floors, including supervising CNA staff, performing managerial nursing duties, and picking up shifts where needed.

Job Requirements are listed below!

· Active RN license in the state of New York

· 2+ years of experience in long-term care

· Supervisory and past training experience preferred (but not required)

· Strong communication skills and attention to detail
