Talis Healthcare is quickly growing and looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant for our Infusion Center.

Candidate will work collaboratively with the practicing Infusion Suite Registered Nurse or Infusion Nurse Practitioner to ensure patient needs are met throughout their infusion treatment.

This position will require an individual who can assist infusion nurses with measuring and recording vital signs, providing comfort care to patients such as assistance with food, beverage or bathroom needs, answering phone calls, completing paperwork, faxing documentation, cleaning room and equipment between patients, transporting medicine between locations and scheduling patients. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products and computer skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for providing safe, comprehensive and compassionate clinical care

· Assisting nurses in manner appropriate for CNA/MA.

· Communicates any changes in patient status, abnormal vital signs, or pain, and refers patient requests, complaints, or questions to the nurse.

· Answering the phone, email, and faxing information.

· Scheduling patients and communicating between offices and teams.

· Uses critical thinking skills to understand what a person needs and finding solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines

· Ability to be self-directed, extremely organized and detail oriented requiring minimal supervision

· Responsible for thorough electronic charting

· General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet and email; Home internet access may be required

· Ability to lift and perform repetitive motions

Education and Experience and Licensure:

· High school diploma or GED

· C.N.A. or M.A. certification, training, and/or license as required by the state(s).

· Valid Driver’s License

· Current and valid Basic Life Support certification required

· Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements.

Candidate must demonstrate competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.

Two years of relevant working experience required. Wage is negotiable based on experience.
