At Jefferson Health Care, CNAs play a vital role in our facility by ensuring our resident and guest have the best overall stay possible. As the front line, you will get to know the patients and residents better than anybody. The CNA is compassionate, caring, helpful, and understanding, just to name a few qualities we are looking for.

We're looking for an multiple individuals who are comfortable assisting patients with basic nursing tasks as well as working in a highly-regulated environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with patients who have a variety of medical needs and a background in rehabilitation, long term care, and geriatrics. We are in a human business and without you, those that are in need of care would continue to struggle with their day to day needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist nurses and doctors.
• Assist with the physical care of patients.
• Provide basic medical care for patients.
• Assist with moving, lifting and transferring patients.
• Know when to alert a doctor or nurse during an emergency.
• Documentation of ADL's
• Turning or moving patients.
• Bathing patients.
• Grooming patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, etc.
• Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake.
• Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $27,040.00 - $36,400.00 per year
