Currently hiring for: short term leave coverage day shift (summer) alternating schedule M/F/Sat and M/F (7-3). Permanent openings: Sun/Mon/Thurs/Fri night shift (11-7), Thurs/Sat day shift (7-3), and Sunday, Monday, every other Sat evenings (3-11). Fully paid benefits for 5 or more shifts per 2-week pay period. Must be able to provide proof of Covid, Flu, and TDaP vaccinations upon hire.

The CNA ratio is usually below 6 to 1 and each CNA has a dedicated nurse to partner in the delivery of care.

Pay Range and other compensation: (Pay based on experience, hours per pay period, and shift)

Job Summary:

The CNA is responsible for providing safe, compassionate care to residents within the scope of practice set by the state of Washington and according to Children’s Country Home’s policies and procedures.

Abbreviated Job Description:

· Perform rounds on residents, assessing needs and providing observant care

· Report observations to nurse

· Assist nurse with basic care and PT/OT

· Engage/socialize with residents (talking, singing, reading, playing)

· Light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning)

Requirements:

· Current WA state Certified Nursing Assistant license

· Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification

· Current Food Handler’s Permit

· Required immunizations (COVID, Flu, TDaP) and TB screening

Beneficial (but not required):

· Pediatric experience

· CNA experience
