Responsibilities:

• Provide care according to approved plan of care
• Assist with personal Hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, light meal prep, linen changes, light housekeeping, ambulation and transfers
• Develop and promote a safe environment
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
• Comply with all documentation and ensure clients rights by adhering to HIPAA and mintain client confidentiality
• Treat Client, family and staff with courtesy and respect
• Must have an active NJ CNA licence, and prefretably with drivers licence and transportation

Requirements:

• Preferably 1 year of home healthcare experience
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.

We are strongly considering candidates with experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
