The Neuropathy Treatment Clinic of Oklahoma is a fast paced, high energy specialty clinic that is growing at a quick rate. As a staff we are committed to giving our patients an “over the top” experience when it comes to empathetic care, effective treatment therapy and exceptional friendliness. The CNA functions under the supervision and guidance of the NP, PA or physician and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients. CNA also provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional staff.

• Must be able to multitask
• Assists NP, PA, Physician or LPN with patient office visits, including putting patients in rooms, recording vital signs including blood pressure, pulse rate, height and weight, oxygen saturation, patients numbers on a 1-10 scale and enters the information in patient’s electronic medical record

• Report interim changes, improvements, or new symptoms after CET therapy at each visit

• Performs appropriate, specific anatomical placement of the electrodes as well as programming of the electrostimulation device according to symptoms, treatment site and direction of nursing staff.

• Monitor patients on the electrostimulation device for disconnections, errors in machine, patient comfort and completion of programs

• Performs all duties related to decontamination (cleaning all chairs, remotes, sponges, cups and pads) between each and every patient use

• Will assist with any procedures as directed by the NP, PA or Physician

• Provides exceptional customer service to all patients by providing a comfortable and caring environment

• Proficient in electronic medical records and basic computer skills

Qualifications:

• Certificate from an accredited institution as a CNA

• CPR preferred but not necessary

• Must have basic computer knowledge
