Clubhouse Facilities Maintenance Assistant

One of the Premier Clubs of the South is seeking a qualified Clubhouse Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support its Building Maintenance, Housekeeping and Locker Room operations.

The successful candidate will be a proven self starter with the ability to consistently show initiative and teamwork within multiple task areas while offering a considerable amount of technical skill and craftsmanship to the equation.

A serious eye for detail is expected, as well as a personality and demeanor conducive to gracious southern hospitality and daily interaction with a wonderful, yet highly demanding membership is crucial for long-term success at this very special Club.

We operate a three story building in the heart of Little Rock. The main building is over 50,000 square feet and we have several outdoor areas that require constant support and maintenance as well. Our new 20,000 square foot Commons building is nearing completion and will add several state-of-the-art amenities for our member's enjoyment. The successful candidate will be responsible for plumbing, electrical, access control and HVAC maintenance as well as any other duties assigned by the Clubhouse Facilities Manager. We are looking for a professional who can take the proactive initiative necessary to help anticipate maintenance issues before they occur.

The new Clubhouse Facilities Maintenance Assistant must be committed to unwavering standards of excellence while working in an environment of teamwork, creative solutions and problem solving.

Many upscale Club events are held each year as the club caters to many of the region’s most notable families, businesses and organizations, requiring the assistance of the Clubhouse Facility Maintenance Assistant in a fast paced, fun, exhilarating and challenging setting.

The successful candidate must be prepared to demonstrate his or her skills and must possess a verifiable and impeccable track record. Licensing and Certification as an Electrician and/or Plumber is desirable, as is the ability to display significant woodworking and finish carpentry work.

A working knowledge of Pool Operations, HVAC Systems, Chiller Systems, Boilers, Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration would also be helpful. He or she will be an individual of high moral fiber with unquestionable personal integrity and work ethic.

The successful candidate must be able to accommodate a schedule of rotating weekends and some holidays.

This position is available immediately. A competitive wage package is being offered and will be commensurate with experience. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
