ABA Centers of America provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to people with autism. We help clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our company began with one person trying to get help for two young family members with autism. Now our goal is to bring ABA therapy to as many clients as possible. Our clinics are in multiple locations, and we are expanding rapidly but with careful attention to planning and resources. Client care is at the center of everything we do.


Your Role


As a Clinical Diagnostic Specialist, you’ll be responsible for administering various standardized diagnostic measures and psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder. You’ll also work with the Clinical Diagnostician, providing them with written diagnostics reports of the results for each case.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Utilizes tests with families and clients
  • Accurate hand scoring of pencil and paper tests
  • Writes diagnostic reports
  • Works together as part of a multidisciplinary team


Educational and Work-Experience Requirements

  • Must have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Education, Social work, or related fields
  • Must have Knowledge in ABA or related field with coursework in diagnostics/testing, Autism and related disorders, and developmental disabilities
  • Must have experience with the following assessments: ADOS-2, DAYC-2, Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test, ABAS-3, Conners-4, PsychProfiler, PPVT-5, CASD, Sensory Profile, BASC BESS, Vineland, and be willing to be trained in additional test administrations as the needs arise
  • Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings

Expertise Needed

  • Diagnostic evaluation: 2 years (Required)
  • Experience in health care settings or behavioral health field preferred
  • Excellent report-writing skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with families, schools, and ASD service providers in a child’s community
  • Effective organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills
