Clinical Program Director
Job description
$2,500 sign on bonus after completion of first 90 days. One week of PTO immediately banked upon new hire.
The Clinical Director will be responsible for all aspects of programs as provided by OCC in addition to the training, supervision, coordination and evaluation of all Program Staff. The Clinical Director serves on the Leadership Team of OCC while maintaining excellent working relations with the Juvenile Court staff, Division of Youth Services staff, Arkansas Youth Services Providers Association members, and other department members. This position requires a flexible schedule due to the nature of the work required. The Clinical Director must have an understanding of the trauma experienced by the clients as well as family systems relationships and issues surrounding poverty. The ability to work collaboratively with others is key to the position. Some public speaking engagements may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assigns and oversees client case load assignments.
· Ensures that service delivery is performed according to OCC’s Mission, Policies and Procedures, Funding Performance Indicators and OCC’s vision and beliefs.
· Assists with the hiring of staff.
· Trains new management staff.
· Conducts performance evaluations of all program staff in compliance with OCC’s personnel policies.
· Monitors program staff strengths and weaknesses and develops training to remediate deficit areas.
· Conducts weekly staff meetings.
· Ensures that 90 day reviews are staffed and recorded in each client case file.
· Ensures program staff maintain updated information regarding available community resources and linkages, including arrangements for in-service training meetings with these linkages as needed to keep Program Staff informed of services available and referral process.
· Maintain on-call schedule and provide support/guidance to on-call staff for after hour issues.
· Participates in on-call rotation
· Participates in agency performance quality improvement and attends all PQI committee meetings.
· Monitors case files for documentation to determine quality and quantity of services.
· Provides case management services in absence of case manager as needed.
· Responsible for lead implementation and explanation of Sanctuary Model standards
· Reviews performance quality improvement reports to identify areas of needed improvement, and participates in developing and implementing solutions to improve the quality of services.
· Serves as primary court liaison and maintains schedule for Program Staff to cover juvenile court dockets.
· Approves all Medicaid billing entered into Fusion
· Attend monthly AYSPA meetings
· Participate in committee board meetings as assigned.
· Provide reports or other information as needed to any licensing and auditing authorities.
· Completes all assigned case management projects to include development, training and implementation.
· Works collaboratively with all stakeholders.
· Conduct investigations and reviews of all critical incidents, accidents, and grievances
· Maintain compliance with applicable licensing and accreditation standards.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in a social service or juvenile justice field and with two or more years of supervisory experience required.
- LCSW or LPC with Medicaid experience preferred.
- Pass a drug screen and maintain a current TB card.
- Must have a current Arkansas Driver’s license and insurable under OCC’s commercial vehicle insurance policy.
- Must receive child maltreatment clearance through the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry.
- Must receive adult maltreatment clearance through Arkansas Protective Services-Adult Maltreatment Central Registry.
- Must receive Arkansas State Police criminal background clearance as mandated by Arkansas Department of Human Services, Minimum Licensing Standards for Child Welfare Agencies.
