Job Profile Summary: Allina Health has a robust Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line that offers the full continuum of care including integration, specialty outpatient clinics, addiction and co-occurring services, partial hospitalization and day treatment, and inpatient care. There are more than 290 mental health and addiction clinicians dedicated to the highest quality patient care across 45 primary care clinics, 6 integrated psychiatry locations, 4 hospital-based clinics, 12 partial and day treatment programs, 15 Allina and affiliated Emergency Departments, and 7 hospitals with 250 inpatient beds. The Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line is led by both psychiatry and psychology clinical leadership, in partnership with operations to advance mental health care for patients across Allina Health. Position Summary • The System Clinical Director is approximately .20 clinical and .80 administrative. • The position is based out of the Mercy Hospital Unity Campus.

Job Description:
Major Position Accountabilities
- Provides clinical strategic leadership across the clinic division for Mental health and Addiction Services to advance Mental Health programs.
- Oversees over 170 psychology and LICSW providers and staff across four levels of care, including triage, primary care, hospital-based clinics, and inpatient level care.
- Accountable for Allina Health’s accredited Psychology Intern and Postdoctoral Psychology fellow programs.
- Responsible for the advancement of Health Psychology.
- Responsible for the advancement of mental health innovation, including improving access to care and developing community partnerships.
- Collaborates with Medical Directors and other providers across the care continuum.
Education and Experience
- Licensed Psychologist (LP) by the Minnesota Board of Psychology required upon hire.
- PsyD or PhD required.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a Licensed Psychologist required.
- 3+ years healthcare leadership experience required.
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days
- Formal Training/Certification in a suicide prevention modality as applicable based on role within 90 Days required
