Clinical Director (Nursing Home Setting)

Salary: $160,000 – 180,000 annually

The Specialty Care Group is a rapidly growing company which provides patients in healthcare settings such as nursing/rehab facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented Clinical Director to join our team! You will use your organizational and leadership skills combined with your nurse practitioner experience to effectively manage the overall clinical operations of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Directing clinical operations for The Specialty Care Group.
• Providing supervision and consultation to all onboarding and active nurse practitioners in the nursing home and assisted living environment.
• Monitoring clinical staff development needs and implementing improvement strategies with the CEO’s approval.
• Professionally screening new candidates and assisting as needed in the onboarding process.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment, as needed.
• Administering medicine and other treatments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• CNP/Certified Nurse Practitioner License (A Nurse Practitioner is certified under section 6910 of the New York State Education Law and licensed as a Registered Nurse.)
• Graduate of a state registered Nurse Practitioner Program OR is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a National Association.
• Primary Care or Geriatric experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
• Experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatments.
• Experience managing a diverse staff and client-base is essential.
• Ability to communicate important health information effectively and compassionately.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• DEA required.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 annually

Schedule: Monday – Friday and as needed.

Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Work Location: Nursing homes and assisted living facilities across New York State.
