POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator for the Weight Loss/Orthopedic Surgery Program acts as a clinical liaison and resource for the in-hospital aspects of the programs. Works to achieve and subsequently maintain hospital’s MBSAQIP certification, Blues Distinction and core measures. Functions as both a program ambassador and patient advocate. Supervises the Data Analyst. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
B.A./B.S
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Active California RN license and BLS certification
EXPERIENCE: 1 – 2 YEARS (NURSING)
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
- Ability to read, analyze, comprehend and interpret data elements.
- Ability to be flexible with changing needs of the department/program.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical and grammatical skills necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Pay range: $59.24 Minimum - $94.79 Maximum an hour
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
