This role is senior level role with the One America Employee Benefits division and will be highly knowledgeable on all the Employee Benefits products and processes. The Client Relationship Sr. is focused on building positive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and are satisfied with the services and products provided by Employee Benefits. This role will also address and fix any escalated issues stakeholders may be experiencing as well as work with new customers to ensure business is retained by continuing to provide an ongoing excellent customer experience. The Client Relationship Sr. must be able to manager and organize their workload successfully as well as be flexible to shift priorities as needed to provide support to all inforce teams. This position is customer facing and will require excellent customer service, communication, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide direction to inforce roles and serve as a subject matter expert on all products and systems associates within Employee Benefits.
  • Assist and complete any escalated requests within a timely manner. Escalated requests may include questions or discrepancies that come from internal stakeholders such as claims, sales, and inforce operations but could also come directly from brokers and policyholders.
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team in order to provide a smooth transition for new customers from onboarding to inforce and ensure the customer is set up successfully.
  • Own and drive the successful execution of a “Welcome Call” to all new customers that is customized to each policyholder’s benefits package.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication to all key stakeholders both internal and external in conjunction with appropriate utilization of internal workflow systems according to documented processes.
  • Process corrections in billing systems to ensure accurate bills are provided to policyholders. This could include extensive and complex billing audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • College Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Group Business experience required
  • Customer Service experience required
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Excel required
  • Financial services experience preferred

Salary Band: 04A

This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
