Job Summary:
Sell customized programs (training/consulting/coaching/needs analysis) by representing Collin Corporate College to government, business, private, non-profit, and industrial sectors of Collin County.
Required Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop sales prospects and build prospect lists through cold calling, referrals, or inquiries. Develop and execute sales plans to maximize revenue through referrals or inquiries by targeting specific companies, organizations and government agencies.
- Meet or exceed stated sales goals (revenue and volume) for new and existing clients.
- Forecast prospect calls, proposals and contracts written on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Inform department leadership of marketing opportunities to expand reach and drive sales productivity.
- Meet with new and existing business/company partners to assess business needs and propose solutions/programs. Write proposal details and convert proposals to contracts.
- Interact with internal college staff to coordinate training venues, media services, and classroom reservations/set-up. Coordinate delivery of training and services on-site at the clients' locations and/or at college facilities. Collect required documentation (registrations, first-day attendance) and update customer relationship management software. Enter all communication, meetings, and correspondence with potential and active clients.
- Maintain existing client relationships and evaluate feedback concerning training received to generate additional training services and referrals.
- Monitor, assess, analyze and identify current and future workforce and corporate education and training needs throughout Collin County through regular review and research of labor market data and trends. Assess the needs of government, business, private, non-profit, and industrial sectors of Collin County.
- Provide support to area businesses and industries for recruiting and training of new talents. Conduct client and community business needs analysis, recommend and plan relevant training, and conduct post-training delivery assessment of impact and effectiveness to drive new programming.
- Participate in business affiliations and relevant professional associations.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, plus stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Occasional physical effort required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
Five (5) years sales experience required.
