Job description
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team of cashiers and clerks. The main responsibilities of this position are to ring up purchases and collect payment, as well as provide a high level of customer service. Cashiers and clerks should be able to keep focused on the task at hand even when pressure is at its highest, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general duties in a retail environment.
- Provide information to customers.
- Explain store policies to customers.
- Greet customers and provide basic customer service.
- Perform cash handling duties such as counting, sorting, and recording bills and coins.
- Use point of sale (POS) register to complete transactions.
- Get and maintain accurate inventory levels.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
