We are seeking a new Clerical Specialist to join our the Forwarding Department in our Brooklyn Heights law office. The Forwarding team is a specialized legal department within Consumer Collections that partners with attorneys outside of our footprint in nearly 40 different states. Our Clerical Specialist will provide administrative support to our legal team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares routine, department-specific documents and correspondence.
- Contacts clients, attorneys and courts via mail, fax, telephone, or e-mail to provide or request needed documents and provide status updates.
- Sets up and closes accounts according to established procedures.
- Answers telephone, directs calls, and conveys messages.
- Sorts, files, locates, and distributes records.
- Processes mail.
- Performs computer data entry to update account files.
- Photocopies and faxes documents.
SCHEDULE:
8:00am - 4:45pm, Monday through Friday
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- $15.16 hr+(based upon experience)
