Job description

Daily interior cleaning of the building including emptying waste receptacles, debris and trash removal, vacuuming/shampooing floors and carpets, dusting and cleaning furniture, cleaning restrooms, washing walls, polishing, mopping floors, cleaning up spills, cleaning windows and window coverings, , in accordance with established procedures and as directed by a Supervisor

May be required to perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including exterior walls and windows, parking lots and structures, gardens and lawns, pools/spas, curbs/gutters, exterior hallways and stairwells

Clean entrances including glass walkways, thresholds

Wash and sanitize toilets and sinks

The Cleaning/Maintenance Services Manager is a working staff member who is responsible for overseeing, scheduling, and managing the cleaning department performing miscellaneous cleaning and maintenance duties during and after events

Performs general office cleaning

Ability to use hand appliances, , vacuum cleaner, buffer

Demonstrate successful performance contributing to a holistic approach to delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients, families, staff and physicians

Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested

Clean-up workers wipe down ceiling fixtures, fans, lights, mechanical registers, walls, cabinets, windows, sills, mirrors, baseboards, counters, appliances and other fixtures

Shifts for this position are Monday through Friday early mornings. 10-15 hours a week.
