Classroom Teacher
Job description
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education
- AZ or ACSI Certified (or willing to become certified within 6 months)
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Finger print clearance card
- CPR & First Aide certified is preferred
- Willing to attend training workshops
- Provide references
- Flexible
- Must have good behavior management skills and be able to maintain classroom control
- Able to establish a good relationship with the students, families and staff
Responsibilities:
- Able to teach a fourth grade classroom or a possible 4th/5th combination class
- Create weekly lesson plans that cover all of the various subjects based on the curriculum
- Engage each student in the learning process
- Plan educational field trips
- Establish a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
- Able to help the students handle social and emotional issues that arise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26,500.00 - $29,225.00 per year
