Caruso is a family owned, 4th generation company that delivers fresh ready-to-eat, and pre-cut produce, sandwiches, salads, and fresh meal kits to retail distribution centers and direct-to-retail stores all over the USA and we are growing!

We are looking for experienced Class A Drivers in Indianapolis IN! This is 100% no touch freight, and you will be home daily!

This route pick up Monday-Wednesday at 10:30 am and goes to Covington Ky. On Thursday it picks up at 5:30 pm and goes to Louisville Ky.

Must have at least 9 months of verifiable experience.

Responsibilities:

· Transport goods to and from manufacturing plant to other divisions

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance

· Meet Delivery schedules

· Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures

· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

· Collect and verify delivery instructions

· Report defects, accidents, or violations

Requirements:

1. Must be at least 21 years of age

2. Must have Class A License

3. Must have 6 months of verifiable experience

4. Must have a good driving record with none of the following violations:

· Reckless driving

· DUI/OMVI

· Hit and Run

· Excessive Speed as defined by DOT (15+ miles over)

· No Preventable Accidents. No more than 2 moving violations withing the last 24 months

6. Ability to lift 50 pounds, work and drive in all types of weather

7. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies, and procedures

8. Excellent and prompt attendance each day scheduled

9. Experience with refrigerated products and previous route delivery is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
