County Concrete Corporation is family owned and operated since 1978. Our company serves the needs of many contractors, large and small, with the highest quality ready mixed concrete products. Our concrete products are approved for NJ Dept. of Transportation, NJ Turnpike Authority, Port Authority of NY/NJ, and Delaware River Joint Toll Commission projects. We also have our EMERALD LINE of concrete mixes to satisfy any Leeds requirements that may arise. In addition to concrete we also supply a wide range of clean fill products, sand and gravel, crushed stone and are a NJDEP approved Class B recycler of concrete.

CDL-B Driver Position Details:

• Local Class B Driver Delivery Routes - Home Daily
• Consistent, Predictable Shifts (Monday-Friday)

Additional Position Details:

Our drivers are the public face of Country Concrete Corp, trusted to transport and handle client materials and engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Drivers are responsible for driving a company vehicle to transport materials from client and County Concrete Corp locations; loading and unloading through a variety of mechanisms; preparing paperwork and performing daily vehicle maintenance inspections to ensure it functions efficiently. This position calls for a moderate amount of physical strength and stamina.

• Communicates in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workers
• Operates and maintains company vehicle safely and efficiently, whether manual or standard transmission
• Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance (details below)
• Executes accurate and timely handling of client delivery requests
• Prepares accurate paperwork and records

Job Requirements * Climb/step-up into a truck cab

• Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations
• Lift at least 70 lbs.
• Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license and a good driving record
• Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, a background check and a DOT physical
• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to adhere to all OSHA and MSHA safety procedures
