Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Repair and maintain gas/diesel engines and tractor trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections, battery service, lubrication, and oil changes
- Check, service, patch, and change tires
- Clean, wash, and polish vehicles
- Dispense gasoline and oil
- Check levels and refill automobile fluids, such as coolant, oil, and transmissions and brake fluids
- Perform repairs in shop and on the road
- Operate motor vehicles to test repairs
- Maintain and update vehicle service and repair records
- Perform other related tasks
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred minimum of 3 years full-time experience as a Class A or Class B mechanic
- Be physically fit and able to lift tool boxes and automotive parts
- Ability to work in narrow spaces
- Reliably operate motor vehicles

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
- New York State Driver License
- CDL license preferred
- License to be maintained for the duration of employment
