Children's Swim Instructor $23-$25/hour

AquaTech Swim is actively seeking Children's Swim Instructors / Teachers / Lifeguards to join our team! FULL PAID TRAINING provided. Whether your background is a coach, actor, performer, athlete, teacher, mentor, tutor, inspirational go-getter, we want YOU!
SWIM INSTRUCTOR PAY:
- PAY RATE: Starting base rate $20/hour.
- HOURLY BONUSES: Hourly bonuses between $1-$5/hour on top of base rate based on punctuality and attendance (overall rate becomes $21-$25/hour with bonuses added)
SWIM INSTRUCTOR WORK SCHEDULE:
Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week - 1 weekend day required
- Mondays 2:30 PM - 8:10 PM
- Tuesdays 2:30 PM - 8:10 PM
- Wednesdays 2:30 PM - 8:10 PM
- Thursdays 2:30 PM - 8:10 PM
- Fridays 2:30 PM - 8:10 PM
- Saturdays 8:30 AM - 2:10 PM
- Saturdays 1:45 PM - 7:25 PM
- Sundays 8:30 AM - 2:10 PM
- Saturdays 1:45 PM - 7:25 PM
SWIM INSTRUCTOR WORK LOCATION:
- Concord Campus - 1220 Diamond Way, Suite 110, Concord CA 94520
SWIM INSTRUCTOR QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to certify in first 30 days of employment)
- Aquatic experience OR willingness to learn (swimming, water polo, sailing, surfing, recreation, etc)
- Teaching experience (teaching, coaching, mentoring, etc)
- Enthusiasm for children, physical fitness and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to diverse groups; excellent listening skills
SWIM INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Learn and become a master of the AquaTech teaching methodology
- Create a fun, safe, supportive "classroom" setting in the water
- Consistently progress students through our level system
