Summary
West Lonsdale Baptist Church Childcare Center exists to provide quality Christ-centered childcare to families in our area. While providing a safe, quality place for children to learn and grow, our primary purpose is to introduce the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to our Childcare families. We value our employees who are partners in this mission.
We care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.

Duties
- Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
- Sanitize toys and play equipment.
- Observe and monitor children's play activities.
- Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and medications administered.
- Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
- Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, songs and Bible stories.
- Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
- Dress children and change diapers.
- Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.
Requirements
- Have a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ
- Be a regular attender of a Bible believing church
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Must be available to work between the hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm. (No nights or weekends required)
- State mandated finger printing and background check will be required (at no cost to applicant)
