Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented and trustworthy Childcare Provider to take care of children at our local daycare center Monday through Friday. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for maintaining a healthy and happy environment for the children by offering fun activities and being a role model. This position requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to work directly with children on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional services to the parents of the children.
• Provide parents with a daily log of their child's activities while they are in the facility.
• Create a fun, educational, and safe environment for children.
• Refer children to community resources, agencies, and social service groups when necessary.
• Protect children against injuries and illnesses by attending to their medical needs and reporting all medical problems to parents right away.
• Attend to the social and emotional needs of a child by providing a safe environment and encouraging them to relate to each other.
• Encourage children's healthy development by providing nutritious meals that meet their dietary requirements.
• Maintain accurate records on child health status and development.
• Work in accordance with all city, state, and federal laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
