Requirements:

• Associate degree in early childhood education or equivalent
• ECE state certificate or equivalent
• 30 Basic STAR Hours required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of previous/related experience
• Computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license

Job Summary:

The Child Care Worker, as part of the substance use disorder treatment team, provides child care and supervision for children of clients in residential treatment or permanent supportive housing. The Child Care Worker promotes the development of children in the child care setting by engaging children in play and learning activities, promoting health and personal habits, encouraging socialization and positive relationships and behavior, assisting with meals, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Successful candidates will have a desire to make a difference in the lives of children who need it the most, by working with a low-income, diverse population dealing with addiction. As a on-call Child Care employee you will be working coverage hours as needed. Excellent opportunity to apply your early childhood education associate degree in a child care setting.
