Job description
The Chief Medical Officer at Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for helping to set strategic vision and overall direction for clinical practices and patient care. The CMO will work to build clinical teams and ensure infrastructure is in place to support current and future growth. This position is also required to give guidance and advice to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors on a broad range of clinical quality initiatives, clinical policy, and strategic issues that are required, to achieve the short and long-term strategies and objectives. This position works closely with members of the medical staff to establish and maintain the highest quality of medical care for Wellfound.

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients. What We Require:
Education:
· Graduate from an accredited medical school
Certification/License:
· Licensed physician in the State of Washington
· Current Basic Life Support card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Work Experience:
· Must have minimum of five (5) years psychiatric experience along with time as a leader
· Must have working knowledge of mental health laws and practice standards.
· Must have knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health treatment.
· Must have excellent verbal, written, and management skills.
