As Chief Engineer, you will lead our ambitious engineering TEAM oversee the completion of various projects within our hotel while providing exceptional customer service. You will manage operations, maintenance and repair of our property, machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

In this role you will coordinate functions and activities with other department heads, guests, owners, suppliers, and contractors. Oversee maintenance of the entire hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and technological systems (including, but not limited to, phones, televisions, internet, keys), and the related equipment by energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years of Engineering Management experience in a hotel setting
• Must have any government required licenses, certificates or permits
• High School Diploma or equivalent – Bachelor’s Degree or Technical School experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to repair and maintain various pieces of building and grounds equipment – ability to train others in the same repairing
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and various tools
• Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Marriott brand experience is beneficial
