The Training Manager exhibits and teaches passionate, friendly, and genuine hospitality and customer service. The Training Manager must become well-versed in each position to properly demonstrate the “Chick-fil-A way” of completing every task. The Training Manager will continuously work with the leadership team in the continual pursuit of Operational Excellence, while creating a positive work culture. Reports directly to the senior leadership team. The Training Manager shares and embodies the company’s values and vision.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Trainer, in a restaurant or production environment, or in a relative position
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Basic have iPad and computer competency

Responsibilities:

• Develops Team Members & Trainers through a detailed training program and through coaching
• Oversees & delegates tasks to Trainers
• Conducts assessments & evaluations of Team Members
• Communicates severe employee performance and policy/procedure violations to Owner/Operator for appropriate handling
• Conducts employee orientations on an as-needed basis
• Oversees team member attendance and punctuality, and exercises accountability as necessary
• Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect, while providing them with direction and feedback
• Serves as subject matter expert to team members for ongoing hospitality and service support
• Leads all aspects of quality guest relations, ensuring that 2nd Mile Service is delivered at all times
• Complete understanding of all positions in both the front and back of the store
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Keeps office and the restaurant clean and organized
• Performs additional duties as needed, including working in operations
• Helps to create, develop, and implement systems, policies, and standard operating procedures
