Position: Chemical Process Engineer
Location: Jonesboro, AR Area
Compensation: Salary $80,000-$110,000 Based Upon Experience plus Bonus

Position Summary: Our client is a growing manufacturer of specialty organic chemicals and premium biofuels. Toll conversions and custom syntheses are available for meeting specific customer needs. They have an exceptional safety and environmental history, are ISO9001 and BQ9000 Certified and are listed on the NYSE. The Chemical Process Engineer will be part of the Project Engineering Team which interfaces with clients on-site to customize their needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Project management experience including managing several projects simultaneously
- Working with a variety of chemicals for new product development and specialty applications
- Providing technical assistance, process improvement and manufacturing support for chemical production
- Experience with process improvements and increased capacity, improving product yield, safer operations and reducing requirements a plus
- Experience in a technical service engineer role including interfacing with customers a plus or experience in a Toll manufacturing environment.
Position Requirements:
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering
- Preferred candidate 3-20 years of experience in a chemical additives toll manufacturing facility
- Ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and identifying root causes of operational problems
- Direct experience with project or process engineering support for batch or continuous chemical production
- Candidate must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Versatile team player that is hands on and leads by example
