Our company goal is to improve the health of our patients and we rely on our billing representatives to provide excellent customer service because every employee has a critical role in the patient's journey. It is our duty to ensure that the insurance pays appropriately so our patients can afford the care that they deserve and try our best to reduce the financial stress that they may experience. Candidates must have desire to continue to learn because the medical field is an ever-changing industry.

Job duties include:

• Coding for our neurology specialist office.
• Revenue cycle management (claims, EOB interpretation, payment posting, denials, A/R, appeals, etc.)
• Manipulate excel files via sorting, filtering, formulas and pivot tables.
• Answer phone calls, scanning, faxing, copying, etc.
• Assist with all medical billing responsibilities as needed (process medical records, collections, authorizations, coding, data entry, etc.)
• Communicate with coworkers and insurance staff to include administrative personnel, nurses, and physicians in order to facilitate appropriate billing and coding.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other tasks or services deemed necessary.

We use Allscripts PM/EHR software and work with a 3rd party for some of our billing needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
