We are looking for a qualified Certified Pharmacy Technician who has at least two years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescription pharmaceuticals and ensuring that they are dispensed accurately and in compliance with company policies. We're interested in hiring a responsible, detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team — someone who works well on a team and is comfortable working for an employer who values customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, fill and label prescriptions.
• Stock shelves with prescription medications and over-the-counter medications; price, and rotate stock.
• Advise store personnel of any out-of-date or damaged stock; notify store manager of necessary recalls or shortages.
• Be familiar with state and federal regulations concerning pharmacy practice.
• Communicate clearly with customers, including being able to explain insurance benefits, fill reminders and prescriptions.,Be able to read and understand prescriptions.
• Make recommendations on alternative drug therapies.
